I don't understand the 2nd picture... there is another person in the background right? I am confused because Mathias from the first picture and ? from the 2nd in the background look alike? maybe it's just my imagination.
I understand now. Thank you. Yes they look alike and it wasn't logical to be the same model in this picture and make a photo manipulation. Still I must say I also dislike this idea of "clone" model. Different = GOOD don't people in fashion know that? Anyway... it's not my job to critique them.
As Mathias is so successeful I got the feeling they were searching for look alikes of Mathias . There are some models who , when a bit more far away, look like Mathias but he is unique .
every person in this world is unique. Models are humans before everything else and even twins are often different. When someone is successful I think it's a mistake to try to "replicate" it because it will never be the orignal no matter how close it is to it. I understand why they are trying to do this, because they want success that brings fame that brings money to the industry. I think I will stop drawing models if things go like this. This makes me sick!!
I was not upset with the models it's not their fault since they do whatever someone else tells them to do. I am sorry if I sound a little bit agressive but I really feel like kicking some asses these days! I will go back to drawing and try not to interefere with other humans.

Mathias and Tyson Balou look a bit alike at this campaign especially with the glasses and the bangs - another reason to kill a hair stylist ;-)
